GOALS BCT 400INSTRUCTIONSYou need to put a signature on the bottom of your email. The signature tells the person receiving your email who you are. Sometimes individuals have email addresses such as bigguy@hotmail.com. When you get an email from "bigguy", you have no clue who he or she is. A signature at the bottom would tell you. Also, sometimes you cannot get your email to "send", so you need to call or fax the person to let them know. If their signature at the end of their email contains their address, phone and/or fax, then you know how to reach them.A signature is something you prepare once, but each time you send an email, it is included at the bottom of your email. This activity will show you how to create the signature and how to include it in your preferences so that it always shows. First, check out the Power Point on Email Signature Files. This should explain to you how to prepare your email signature file and include it in your email in Netscape Messenger. If you use Bamamail:
