Setting your Bama Account so you can FTP (upload files)By defualt, your Bama account is set up so you can check email, but you do not have FTP access to your account yet. What you need to do is to change your Bama account shell for FTP access which will let you check email as well as have FTP acces to be able to upload.To change your shell, you need to be at a University of Alabama computer. Computers outside the University will not give you access. Then follow these simple steps:
Your Bama Account is getting FullWhenever you Bama account starts sending a message that it is getting full, that you are running out of space, or some message of that sort, you need to clear up some space so you can keep adding your information into your account. One of the things that occupy a lot of space and many times you don't realize is you email messages. It is a wise idea to save important messages that you might use later on. However, not all messages are important. So make it a habit to delete what you don't need, especially those emails that carry attachments. These can use space and you are unaware of that.
